We at Millbrook Paving Centre buy most of our material from Stoneage Products (India) Ltd, who strongly believe in adhering to a strict framework of policies and regulations. In accordance with this belief, Stoneage has undergone a process of stringent audits over the years. The result has been that they have recently been awarded ISO:9001:2000 by TUV, Rhineland, Germany.
Stoneage (India) operates a charitable trust and contributes to it on a monthly basis and the amount of the donation is commensurate with the growth of the company.
The funds from the trust are used for education of poor children and medical treatment of the needy. The accounts of the trust are independently audited annually and are available for public viewing.
Further all their policies and practices for social and ethical trading have been confirmed as per the standards of SA8000 by Qualicon Consultancy. In fact, their company is the only natural stone industry in India, which has achieved this approval and meets all the demanding set of conditions stated under SA800, a European standard.
